Anthony Joseph "Tony" Turski, 96, of Madison, IL, born June 13, 1922, in Madison, IL, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Granite City Nursing & Rehab, Granite City, IL.

Tony was Veteran. He also retired after 30 dedicated years as the Chief Desk Clerk at the Madison Police Department, Madison. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison, IL.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Ben Turski DDS; sisters, Helen Bertacchi and Hattie Mulnik; as well as two infant brothers.

Surviving are his sisters, Clara (Ed) Bonk of Maryville, Agnes Ruesing of Madison, and Elsie (Tom) Gordon of Collinsville; brother, Stanley Turski of Lake in the Hills, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions to St. Mary's or Masses.

Visitation: Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, IL.

Services: Funeral at 10 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison, IL, with Father Jeff Holtman officiating and Father Paul Bonk as co-celebrant. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
