Kim Scott Battles, 52, of Temple Texas, formerly of Jonesboro and Granite City, IL, and Marston, MO, born on April 9, 1965 in Clarkton, MO, passed Monday, Nov. 6, 2017.

Kim was the Treasurer of the Stock Ownership Committee of Material Transportation and Materials Transportation of Temple, Texas, as Engineering Coordinator.

He is survived and missed by his children; Courtney Taylor Battles, Brady Scott Battles, and Emily Kay Battles of Granite City, IL; sisters, Donna (Robert) Cook of Temple, TX, Rebecca Mayes of Tampa, FL, and Gay (Larry) St. Mary-Williams; aunt, Eva Currens-Jorden of Bay City, TX; uncle, John Battles of Festus, MO; nephews, Eric St. Mary of Louisville, KY, Chad St. Mary of Oxford, MS, and Jason Mayes of Plant City, FL; fiancé, Jennifer Smotherman Schaffer of Temple, TX; Mother of his childeren, Angela Goforth Battles of Granite City, IL; as well as many more family and friends.
