Cheri Pinkerton

Cheri Pinkerton, 79, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at University Care Center in Edwardsville.

Cheri was born March 1, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Barnes hospital, where she compounded intravenous solutions until she retired in 2010. She loved the outdoors, especially picnics and camping. Cheri enjoyed taking the road less traveled and the Smokey Mountains were a favorite destination. She loved animals great and small but closest to her heart were horses.

   Cheri was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mary Lou, and her brothers, Mark and Mickey. She is and will be missed by her loving husband John of 57 years, their three children, Tom (Hollie), Ann (Salvador), and Mary. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sisters Rebecca, Amy and Nancy and an abundance of nieces and nephews
