Clementine Josephine Howard, 90, of Granite City, IL, born October 8, 1927 in St. Vincent, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018 at Eden Village, Glen Carbon, IL.

Clementine was a homemaker who belonged to St. Elizabeth's Church in Granite City, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Everett Howard, whom she married April 12, 1947 in Venice, IL; parents, William Wiedower and Josephine Zimmerman; daughter, Sharon Kremers; son, Arthur Howard; five brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving are her son, Neal "Sonny" Howard of Granite City; grandchildren, Sarah (Jeffrey) Farrance of Granite City, Joe (Amanda) Kremers of Granite City, Shannon (Russ) Moss of Granite City, Deanna (Dale) Hall of Denver, Colorado, and Curtis (Audrey) Howard of Alpine, CA; sister, Freda Hicks of Granite City; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to St. Elizabeth's Church or American Lung Association.

Services: Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 8, 2018 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, IL. Funeral 11 a.m. Jan. 9, 2018 at the funeral home with Deacon Mike Melton officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
