In Loving Memory of
Heinz L. Bronnbauer

Heinz L. Bronnbauer, 76, of Granite City, Ill., born October 30, 1940 in Amorbach, Germany, died at 5:02 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Gateway Regional Hospital in Granite City, Ill.

Heinz worked for 46 years at Gebco Machine Shop as a machinist. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Knights of Columbus 1098, Fourth Degree 0224, Schwaben Singing Society of St. Louis, and was a past president of Edwardsville Lions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl Bronnbauer and Maria Galm.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara A., nee Wagner, Bronnbauer, whom he married May 5, 1962 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Granite City; children, Susan (Randy) Hall, Robert Bronnbauer, and Daniel (Tonya Hahne) Bronnbauer, all of Granite City; grandchildren, Natasha Hall, Nathan Hall, Brennan Bronnbauer and Kamryn Bronnbauer; and great grandson, Carter Beasley.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or Holy Family Church, Granite City.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home in Granite City. A Chalice Service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Holy Family Church, Granite City. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville.
