Herbert A. Cornwall, 70, of Granite City, Ill., born April 1, 1948, in Sparta, Ill., died Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Granite City, Ill.

Mr. Cornwall was a Journeyman machinist at Arnette Pattern for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon P., nee Corse, Cornwall, whom he married November 22, 1969; his parents, Jack E. and Cornelia, nee Range, Cornwall; and two sisters, Mary Baycott and Margaret Yarbrough.

Surviving are his children, Tammy (John) Hoffman of St. Louis, Michael Cornwall of Orange County, Calif., and Herbert Eugene (Kim) Corn-wall of Fenton, Mo.; two sisters, Marlene Carey of Granite City, Ill., and Sharon (Allen) Ledbetter of Granite City, Ill.; and grandchildren, Samantha and Alexis Hoffman and Riley and Trevor Cornwall.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, Ill.
