JoAnn Marie Macios, 80, of Granite City, IL, born on October 24, 1937 in Granite City, IL, passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Gateway Regional Hospital, Granite City, IL.

JoAnn graduated from Granite City High School, Class of 1955. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church, National Sorority for 30 years, worked 17 years with Nameoki Twp. Tax Assessor and retired in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Heth; and a granddaughter, Macie Crow.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Macios, whom she married on August 27, 1955 at Sacred Heart Church, Granite City; children, Carla (Tony) Crow of Glen Carbon, JoElaine (Russell) Knight of Collinsville, Marc (Christine) Macios of Collinsville, JoAnn (Rafael) Ruiz of St. Jacob, and Julie (Phil) Morris of Glen Carbon; sister, Brenda (Ken) Zampaglione of Collinsville; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
