Josephine E. Kubelka, 97, of Madison, IL, born April 13, 1921 in Madison, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Granite City Nursing and Rehab, Granite City, IL.

Josephine worked at Ruth's Dress Shop in Granite City, IL, as a Sales Associate. She belong to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Kubelka, whom she married on May 17, 1941 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison, IL; her father, Jacob Mehelic; her mother, Maria Lisac; 12 brothers and sisters; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.

Surviving are her children, Gloria (Gary) Kasprovich of Granite City, IL, and Joseph (Phyllis) Kubelka of Denton, NC; grandchildren, Christina (Lee Ann) Kasprovich, Kevin (Hilary) Kasprovich, David (Cheryl) Kasprovich, Caryn (Allen) Bowden, Caryl Jo (Al) Behmoiras and Michael (Heidi) Kubelka; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison.

Visitation: Visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018, at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City.

Services: Funeral is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madison, Fr. Jeff Holtman will be officiating.

Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
