Kenneth Brett Gray

Kenneth Brett Gray, 65, of Glen Carbon, IL, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Born on April 16, 1960, in Alton, Illinois, Brett was the beloved life partner of Karen “Micky” Ryder. He was known for his love of fishing, camping, hilarious pranks and spending time with his family.

Brett worked as a carpenter for many years and took great pride in his growing family. Above all he cherished his French bulldog, Brody.

He is survived by one son, William (Jessica) Gray; three daughters, Brandy (Christopher) Harrison, Jenifer (Jimmy) Buehler, Kelly (Nicholas) Garcia, fifteen grandchildren- McKenna and Hailey Gray, Trevor and Lydia Harrison, James, Joseph and Jillian Buehler, Alexander and Mila Garcia, Kenneth and Kaitlyn Ryder and Kyle Shipley-Ryder, Frederick and Megan Kamphoefner. And five great grandchildren, Mina Sherrill, Kamren and Kaden Ryder Landon and Brynlee Reynolds. And was proceeded in death by his parents William and Doris Gray, Uncle Edward and Aunt Maxine Kuehnel, daughters Barbie Ryder, Cristy Ryder and granddaughter Emily Kendall. 

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 1st, 2-5 pm at Saksa in Edwardsville, Illinois.
