Lorraine B. Paladin, nee Ropac, 89, of Ballwin, Mo. died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018, in Bethesda Meadow, Mo.

Lorraine was an LPN at Colonial Haven NH and St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Granite City, IL, for many years, and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Arden" Paladin, whom she married May 25, 1949, at St. Joseph's in Granite City, IL; and by her parents, Joseph and Marie, nee Svoboda, Ropac. Surviving are a son, Michael (Pam) Paladin of Ballwin, MO; grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly) Paladin of Ballwin, MO, Kathleen (Steven) Decker of Crestwood, MO, and Brian (Michelle) Paladin of Maryland Heights, MO; and great-grandchildren, Axl, Lars and Sadie.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, IL.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Granite City, IL, with Fr. Zachary Edgar officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville.
