Mary Perdue

Mary Perdue, 98, of Wentzville, Mo., formerly of Granite City, Ill., born on October 29, 1918 in Hartshorne, Okla., passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Mary was a homemaker who belong to the Nativity of Virgin Mary Orthodox Church of Madison, Venice Madison American Legion Aux. and chaufferete during WWII at Army Depot.

She was preceded by her parents, Michael and Anna, nee Onesky, Dutko; brothers, Mike, Frank, Howard, Kelly and John Dutko; her husband, John W. Perdue, who passed on July 27, 2003.

Surviving are her children, Doris Ann Perdue of Wentzville, Mo. and John (Jo Ann) Perdue of Mansfield, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Marie (Mike) Moore of Troy, Mo and Cheryl Ann Guilford of Foley Ala.; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Paige and Taylor; and sister, Ann Podner of Baton Rouge, La.

In lieu of flowers send memorials to Nativity of Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Madison.

Services: Funeral at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, Ill., with Fr. Nicholas Finley officiating. Burial in Glen Carbon
