In Loving Memory of
Roy P. Hill

Roy P. Hill, 75, of Granite City, Ill., born November 8, 1941 in Hillsboro, Ill., passed away at 7:08 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017.
 
Mr. Hill served in the Unit-ed States Army from 1962 to 1964. Roy was a self em-ployed roofer for 50 years and retired custodian in the Gran-ite City School District after 20 years of service. He was also involved in the Eagles of Granite City.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Sue Hill, whom he married on August 11, 1972 in Madison, Ill., who passed away De-cember 14, 2004; two broth-ers; one sister; and a son, Ter-ry Chandler.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Chris (Singkham) Khounsana, Virginia (Phith) Keomanivane, and Lynn Hill all of Granite City, Ill.; son, Joe Allen (Julie) Chandler of Granite City; brother, Harper Hill of Washington; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be sent to Lung Cancer Re-search.

Visitation: Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. May 25, 2017 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, Granite City, Ill.

Services: Funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Buck Road Cemetery, Maryville, Ill.
