Thelma Irene McMurray age 100 of Madison, Illinois passed away January 14th 2025 at Carlinville Hallmark Home.

She was born January 2nd 1925 to late Robert and Cora (Deacon) Riley. She was a house wife, mother and grandmother. She loved listing to music and watching the Real McCoys and Westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Blythe E. McMurray and grandson James Samuel Hill, 3 children James McMurray, Sharon Grubbs, Linda McMuray, and 5 sibling of her own; 4 brothers Emest, Robert, Ray and Leroy and 1 Sister Marie.

Survived by son Kenneth Hill, daughter Patty L. Davis (Tim) her caretaker for over 30 years. grandchildren Kenneth Hill Jr.(Kimberly) and Stacey Hill(Kennedy). Many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be missed … Forever in our hearts you will be

Visitation January 21, 2025 9 am to 10 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home Granite City IL.

Graveside service at 11:15 am  January 21, 2025 at Jefferson Barracks St. Louis MO.
