William R Dolosic Sr

William R. Dolosic Sr., 79, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriette Dolosic.  He was known to all his family and friends as “Daddy Bill.”  He was surrounded by the love of his family when he was called to leave this world and will be greatly missed.

 He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from U.S. Steel in 2001.  He loved fishing, feeding the ducks in Grafton, traveling, betting on horse and dog races, NASCAR, scratch-off lottery tickets, the Queen of Hearts, Daytona Beach and Las Vegas.

 He was a kind man that did so much for so many people. His final wish was to have his body donated to Washington University School of Medicine for the advancement of science.  We plan to have a celebration of life at a later date.
